Geologists working with the UK government say they have discovered nearly 40 trillion cubic metres of shale gas sitting under one part of England alone. The announcement clears the way for a large scale fracking programme, to the fury of environmental campaigners. Britain, like other European countries, is worried about energy security in future and says shale gas extraction is crucial. Al Jazeera's Laurence Lee reports from the UK.
