Chronic Kidney Diseases or CKD is a condition of defected kidneys from an extended time. During this disease, a patient may or may not be aware of the living of disease in his kidneys. In the video above we have discussed about the healthy tips and tricks that can help in recovering from CKD. It is surprising that how common this disease has become within 15 years only.
Chronic Kidney Diseases are becoming a reason for death these days and has been declared as a global threat by the World Health Organization.
The conditions of kidneys are determined by two tests:
• Serum creatinine level and
• Estimated Glomeruli Filtration Rate (eGFR)
Both these tests help in determining the physical conditions and functionality of the kidneys. There are five different stages in CKD, each stage defining the seriousness of the damage done to the kidneys.
The eGFR level changes with the stage and every drop in the count of rate signifies the unhealthy functioning of kidneys:
• Stage One: eGFR is greater than 90
• Stage Two: eGFR lies in the range of 60 to 90
• Stage Three: eGFR lies in the range 30-59
• Stage Four: eGFR lies in the range 15-29
• Stage Five: eGFR lies drop down below the range of 15
Here in the video, we have one patient Mr. Chandra Rao from Bangalore, whose eGFR level was 0.62 ml/min, almost a stage where dialysis and kidney transplants are recommended. But as soon as he started taking treatment from Dr. Puneet Dhawan at the headquarters of Karma Ayurveda, his eGFR levels were boosted from 0.62 ml/min to 7.9 ml/min.
Now that is a major achievement for both Karma Ayurveda and Mr. Chandra Rao. All of this could happen because of the guidelines and medicament provided by Dr. Puneet Dhawan and the determination of Mr. Chandra Rao.
