Here’s what Jordy wrote in his video submission.
Your future performance concept:
[Translated from Spanish] "As the act progresses, it goes through three stages: 1. An initial and intimate sensory connection with the object. 2. The emergence of patterns that give shape to movement. 3. The breaking of that structure and its integration into a more authentic presence. Glow clubs would be useful to amplify that effect. At the beginning, dim and breathing light, like a thought being born. Then, circular and rhythmic patterns that reinforce the geometry of movement. Finally, lights that flash, contradict each other or synchronize to symbolize disorganization and its subsequent balance. It's not an act about technique, but about perception, process and presence. The light effects will help make the invisible visible: the internal states of the body while juggling."
Other notes on future performance ideas
[Translated from Spanish] "Through the rhythm of music and progressive manipulation of the object, I go through a cycle that goes from raw feeling, to organization of movement, and finally to its rupture and integration. The use of glow clubs is not aesthetic, but essential: their light patterns accompany the internal evolution of the act, sometimes as emotional extension, sometimes as error that manifests itself, and finally as balanced energy. The act is an attempt to make visible the internal process of the juggler: not only what they do, but what they go through. Music: "Before His Fall" by Mononome (instrumental lo-fi hip hop with emotional structure). Costume: neutral and clean, contemporary ritual style, so as not to distract from the movement. Set design: dark background with high contrast to highlight the body and clubs. Style: the piece combines technical juggling, manipulation, contact and body expressiveness, synchronized with the emotional rhythm of the music."
Música: "Before His Fall" de Mononome (instrumental lo-fi hip hop con estructura emocional).
