What is EPGP?
EPGP is based on the concept of Effort Points and Gear Points. Effort Points quantify the effort each member put towards the (common) guild goals and Gear Points quantify what each member got back in return. Loot priority is computed as the quotient of the two; priority (PR) is equal to EP/GP.[/li]

How do I get Effort Points (EP) and how much will i get?
EP can be awarded through multiple activities:
Being on time for raid = 50 EP
Being in raid = 250 EP reoccurring every 15 min
Killing Bosses = 500 EP
Providing Guild with needed materials = Situation Based (Ask for further details, Guild event has to be advertised)

How do i get Gear Points (GP) and how much will i get?
GP points are accounted through some other set of action:
Receiving loot in a raid = EPGP Default value (Check in game for loot costs)

What is Priority (PR) and how does it work with Gear?
Your PR is calculated by dividing your EP and GP. Below is an example:
Player 1: 3000 EP / 1500 GP = 2 PR
Player 2: 3500 EP / 1000 GP = 3.5 PR
In this situation Player 2 would receive the gear because he has the higher PR.

How about those guys that try to hoard their EP?
This problem is non-existent in EPGP because of the use of the EP and GP decay. Only temporal EP and GP are accounted; the later you "use" your PR lead, the less benefit you receive. The earlier you take an item, the faster its value will decay.

What about new raiders vs core raiders?
Because of the decay, new members become equal under the system much faster. EPs decay over time so with a 10% decay every week a veteran has about the same EP as a new member (if they both attended the same raids). The only barrier to entry for new members is reaching Core raider (Rank). New raiders will not be eligible for loot until they reach core raider, unless the gear is not needed by a core raider. No matter what the PR is, a core raider will not lose a piece of gear to a new raider.

What about complexity?
Unlike Zero Sum with taxation, which is very similar, there is no need to rebalance when members join/leave guild, and no changes in tax/decay because of more tries on new content. The reduced complexity of the system allows more people to understand it, which keeps the queries to the guild master low and member satisfaction up.

That is EPGP. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please let me know in the comments below. Thanks for watching an dont forget to hit that like button for more videos :)
