In this film we touch on the how living in a city makes you feel as compared to walking along the mountains. As we walk along the beautiful trails of these Himalayan mountains we witness waterfalls, jungles, rivers, all the different prayags of Ganga.

Our journey starts from Rishikesh and we head to Govindghat. From Govindghat we hike to Ghangharia, the base village of Valley of Flowers and from Ghangharia we witness the serene the eccentric flowers valley in Himalaya. Valley of Flowers is a national park and is one of the most beautiful experiences you may have with your friends and family.

In this film we use the elements of poetry, storytelling and vlogging to cover the fun and beauty of the mountains.

Here is the complete script of the film:

When I look at the world around me I see people... people who are comfortable, people who watch the time go by aimlessly. I see a city that makes years of human life pass by, in a blink.

I see people following other people into oblivion and that's why I feel like an outcast...

But here,

In this wild… The question is do I belong here?

We all have experienced our many firsts… First day of school, first love, your first kiss, first heartbreak and your first solo trip. This too is my first… A first adventure, first love affair with the mountains and a first with friends!

We start our journey from Rishikesh. The spiritual capital of the world and as we arrive here, this place is already covered in clouds. We wanted to not just explore but capture the essence of rishikesh in pixels and to be able to do that we did not only covered the legendary spots like the jhulas, the ghats, the mandirs but also some unexplored, untouched waterfalls. Here’s how it looked.

I have heard a lot about rishikesh but its power, its energy is beyond anything you could ever experience without actually visiting here. Now before we left for our adventure beyond rishikesh we took the blessings of the Holy Gangarti and took to the roads

These roads… These roads remind me of you, your beauty,
When I’m sitting inside in this illusion of safety and look outside, the breaking stones from the landslide, it reminds me of your fury. These roads, these roads remind me of you, your beauty

The walk. The Waterfalls.

We now start walking, walking towards the base village before actually witnessing, experiencing what we came here to experience.

This journey was full of surprises, difficulties, conversations, the sound of roaring waters, jungle and most importantly… Waterfalls!

What’s in a city?

When you live in a city you forget the challenges of the real world. The world was not created for your convenience. You don’t have the protection of human engineering. In cities you may have all the physical ease, the consolation of abundance but here in the mountains you have what we call the mental peace. I’d trade off the comforts of my city life to have this mountain of peace!

We walk, at our own pace, no coordination, no pace
Sometimes we talk, sometimes we’re just silent, We are all in awe of these beautiful mountains
We may have some trouble walking up-hill and breathing at the altitude but these beautiful visuals, these trails. we would trade off our city life, our grail of comfort, for these times and these visuals. We live to walk these mountains!

I most definitely do not belong to the swarming cities but the question that I’ve been asking myself as I walk, absorb, meditate and appreciate these terrains… Do I belong here?

I think I know the answer
and you know it too!
