Join us as we brave the inclement weather In Camborne to enjoy wonderful Trevithick Day, an annual town festival to celebrate the life of Camborne’s most famous son—Richard Trevithick (1771-1833), a Cornish engineer who pioneered the world’s first high-pressure steam locomotive.

The festival, this year marks the 40th anniversary of the event, includes street food, merriment, music, dancing and of course the amazing steam engine parade through the main street!
