Darkness weighs heavily upon the land. The mountain peaks soar ominously towards the heavens. After all these years, it is here again. This mysterious whispering in the night. What is hiding there in the gloomy forests? A storm is gathering. The cold is now biting on the Dark Ridge.

Yet, there is hope. For in the midst of this gloom, the guardians of the watch stand ready, up high on the towers. Day after day. Night after night. Ready to defend our families and our land with their lives. When they ignite their torches…then may the Goddess have mercy on us.

It is the fires of fear that burn there now. May the courage of the watch burn brighter than the light of the flames. For they are our last bastion against that which lies in wait for us in the shadows. And our only hope remains there – there on the Darkenguard.
