hru is an application with it's main goal of being the students' companion, with the aim of helping students to cope with their stresses from commitments .
hru's main feature is the AI chat bot, named hru! It is able to detect the mood and feelings of a person through their interactions with the bot.

Why talk to a bot when you could talk to a human?
Privacy. For many students, there are times where we really want to vent our thoughts and stresses, and to organize them. However, the current best way is to talk to a person, a close friend or a counsellor.
There are many downsides to this, for example, it may be hard to trust or be comfortable with someone enough to share these thoughts, or that a close friend might use the thoughts to backstab.
So, the goal is to help these students who are in the more stressful seasons of school to organize their thoughts and give them a space to vent whilst being secure that their thoughts are safe, private and that there is no judgement being made, thus helping them to perform better in studies with a much clearer mind, and to improve their overall mental wellbeing.
