In Part 1, we arrive aboard the USG Ishimura as part of a routine repair mission that immediately goes wrong. The Kellion is lost, the ship is eerily quiet, and it does not take long before it becomes clear that something is wrong. We push through the opening sections, locate the circuit board needed to restore basic systems, and get the tram operational again, all while fighting our way through hordes of what looks like mutated crew members.

This is the calm before the descent. First encounters. First realizations. The moment where isolation turns into survival.
