Hang with the boys as we give you a tour of our multi day trip from downtown Seattle, across the Puget Sound by ferry to Bainbridge Island (the birthplace of pickleball), drive along the coast to Port Angeles. We then camp and fish at Lake Crescent which is the second deepest lake in Washington at 624 feet. We wake up to hike 3.3 miles and 2,106 feet of elevation using ropes to navigate the deadly hike up Mount Storm King. From the summit you can see all the way to Canada out over the ocean. The ropes are needed can the trail can be treacherous to those who get scared of heights. From there we journey to Sol Duc campgrounds and spend the evening at the hot springs. We then head to the HOH rainforest which is one of the only rainforests in America and a wonder of Washington. If you are going make sure to get up early. When we left the area around 1pm or so the line was at least 3 hours long to get into park and miles deep. We spend our last night out on the stunning olympic coast which is also part of olympic national park. We traveled through the town of Fork which is where the famous Twilight movie saga was filmed. We grabbed a back country permit from the ranger station and hiked the Hole in the Wall trail a couple miles in and camped right next to the old hole itself which was stunning. From there we ran around checking the tide pools, hangin around the fire, cooking up some meats and veggie hash and sippin a few brewskies. We left from the Rialto Beach Trail head which is a stunning black sand beach. Make sure to check the Tidal maps before heading out as they gave us a lot of trouble and had to move camp sites several times.
