"They played very, very good. I like it. It's not the matter of losing or winning. Black Star (Ghanaian football team) is bringing Africa great. That's what I believe, that's what I saw. It is for the future they'll play very nicely, I hope, God willing."
16. SOUNDBITE (English) Susan Apreko, football supporter:
"I was really disappointed in the match. There were a whole lots of flaws which I think the referee should have looked into before awarding those cards. The three goals were too much for us, I wasn't expecting this at all. I was expecting that we should have at least scored some goals."

STORYLINE
Ghanaian football fans saw their hopes of World Cup glory dashed on Tuesday after their team suffered a 3-nil defeat to defending champions Brazil.
Ghana proved tough challengers, however, out-playing the Brazilians at times.
The African team, making its first World Cup appearance, controlled possession and out-shot Brazil 25 to 21.
Ghana's shots, however, were either just off the mark or well within reach of Brazil's goalkeeper Dida.
On the streets of the Ghanaian capital, supporters had mixed reactions about the team's performance.
Adam Gizaw said the "Black Stars", as the national team are known, played very well and brought glory to Africa.
