Illegal biodiesel pump busted – 440 liters of biodiesel recovered, Naveen Prakash arrested!

Udaipur's TD police station and the DST team, in a joint operation, busted an illegal biodiesel pump in the TD area. It was located in an underground tank behind the Ramdev Hotel, from where vehicles were being openly filled with biodiesel. The team recovered 440 liters of biodiesel from the spot and arrested one accused, Naveen Prakash. Udaipur SP Yogesh Goyal stated that the police received information about an illegal biodiesel trade going on behind the Ramdev Hotel. Based on this, the TD police and DST team raided the site. Investigation revealed a machine resembling a petrol pump permanently installed on the underground tank behind the hotel. The team informed the logistics department and called them to the scene. Enforcement Officer Dr. Nisha Mundhra and Senior Area Sales Manager Shravan Puri conducted an investigation and removed the liquid from the tank and filled it into two drums, each containing approximately 220 liters of biodiesel. During preliminary interrogation, accused Naveen Prakash revealed that he was illegally selling biodiesel from the Dastak company. Police seized the biodiesel, tank, and machine. SP Goyal stated that storing and selling biodiesel without permission is illegal. Police are now investigating who else is involved in this illegal network.
