I tried to do one video and it didn't work out too well. That's the first part of this video. To skip to the demo of it working, go to 8:17.

To get the controller to work with games initially, all it took was making sure all the drivers and everything (PC, controller, Shield TV, the works) were up to date...which they were. Then they had me go in and restart the controller service, un-pair then re-pair the controller to the console and reboot. It worked after this.

Then, when the controller totally died (literally wouldn't turn on anymore), all I had to do, come to find out, was a hard reset. To do this, hold the back button and the home button for a long ass time until they blink. Then re-pair it with the Shield. Done.

nVidia's 24hr online chat support is baller, for the record.
