First Trimester (1-3 Months): In the first three months of pregnancy, you can sleep in any position that feels comfortable. Your body is still adjusting, and you don't have to worry too much about the impact of your sleeping position on the baby.

Second Trimester (3-6 Months): From the fourth month onwards, it's recommended to start sleeping on your left side. This position helps improve blood circulation, enhances oxygen supply, and supports the baby’s growth. It also helps reduce the pressure on your liver and improves kidney function, which aids in reducing swelling.

Third Trimester (6-9 Months): In the last three months of pregnancy, you might experience breathing difficulties while sleeping due to the growing baby. To alleviate this, use a bigger pillow to support your upper body and maintain a comfortable position. Sleeping on your left side remains the best position to ensure optimal blood flow and comfort.

Best Sleeping Position: The best position to sleep during pregnancy is the left lateral position. This not only improves blood circulation and oxygen supply but also supports the baby’s growth and helps in reducing common pregnancy discomforts.
