The Trump administration is facing backlash after it posted a video to social media that mixed real footage of missile strikes in Iran with footage from the video game Call of Duty.

The White House also posted another video that included clips from films such as Tropic Thunder, Braveheart, and Top Gun.

Ben Stiller, who appeared in the 2008 film Tropic Thunder, posted on X: "Hey White House, please remove the Tropic Thunder clip. We never gave you permission and have no interest in being a part of your propaganda machine. War is not a movie."

Matt Frei is joined by video games scholar Dr Nick Robinson to analyse the video, and he points out the 'ethical problems' with posting such content.
