Thrifting at boutique consignment shops is a great alternative to the typical thrift (like goodwill or talize). I like to change it up sometimes (especially when I've had no luck digging through typical thrift shops) and pop by consignment boutiques! They're usually more curated and have trendier, novel styles, so I find the chances of ending up finding something I LOVE are higher (sometimes, I get tired of the hit or miss of thrifting lol).
