The Blizzard of '78 on Cape Cod: Part II

Utilizing footage from the archives of the Henry Beston Society, Don Wilding’s Cape Cod looks at the origins of the Blizzard of 1978 on Cape Cod. Unlike the mainland, the Cape was spared large amounts of snowfall. However, the storm set a new standard for wind and tidal damage at Coast Guard Beach in Eastham.

Part II features interviews with former Cape Cod National Seashore ranger Jack Clarke, Cape writer/historian Noel Beyle, radio newsman Bob Seay, and former Eastham Natural Resources Manager Henry Lind.
