What's a Purple Team and Skills Needed to be a Purple Teamer

Purple teams are a relatively new trend in the information security industry and represent a new tool in organizations toolbox for improving cyber security effectiveness. Purple teams are a blend of red teams and blue teams with the intention of promoting a collaborative culture between red and blue, and driving a real-time feedback loop for faster strengthening of controls.
