ABOUT THIS GAME
Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Bend Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Originally released for the PlayStation 4 in April 2019, it later received a Windows port in May 2021. The game is set in post-apocalyptic Oregon, two years after a devastating pandemic transformed a portion of humanity into vicious zombie-like creatures known as Freakers.
In the game, players take on the role of Deacon St. John, a former outlaw-turned-drifter and bounty hunter. Deacon embarks on a quest to find his wife, Sarah, who was assumed dead but may still be alive. The gameplay is presented from a third-person perspective, allowing players to explore an expansive open world. They can utilize firearms, melee weapons, and improvised tools to defend themselves against hostile humans and the cannibalistic Freakers.
A central game mechanic revolves around Deacon’s trusty motorcycle, which serves as his primary mode of transportation through the dangerous landscape. As players navigate the harsh wilderness, they’ll encounter challenges, make choices, and uncover the mysteries of this post-apocalyptic world.
About the Characters of this game
1.) Deacon “Deek” St. John: Our central protagonist, Deacon, wears the dual hats of the bounty hunter and former outlaw. He fearlessly traverses the perilous landscape astride his trusty motorcycle, all while doggedly pursuing the whereabouts of his presumed-dead wife, Sarah.
2.) Sarah Whitaker: A scientist with a green thumb, Sarah’s botanical expertise proves invaluable in the harsh post-apocalyptic world. Her knowledge of flora and fauna plays a crucial role in survival.
3.) William “Boozer” Grey: Once a soldier in the U.S. Army, Boozer now rides alongside Deacon as a loyal member of the Mongrel Motorcycle Club. Their bond runs deep, forged through shared hardships and unwavering trust.
4.) Jessie “Carlos” Williamson: Another Mongrel Motorcycle Club member, Carlos has a backstory shrouded in mystery. His motivations and past experiences add layers to the game’s narrative.
5.) Iron Mike: The authoritative leader of the Hot Springs camp, Iron Mike wields influence over the survivors. His decisions shape the course of events, making him a central figure in the unfolding story.
6.) Raymond “Skizzo” Sarkozi: Skizzo’s character is a web of contradictions. His loyalties shift, and his enigmatic past hints at hidden depths. His complexity adds intrigue to the game’s plot.

In the hush of desolation, where shadows cling, A world unraveled, memories frayed at the seam, Deacon rides, a lone echo through the wasteland, His motorcycle’s growl, a hymn of survival.
Freakers prowl, their hunger insatiable, Once human, now twisted by the pandemic’s touch, Their eyes vacant, mouths agape, seeking warmth, Yet Deacon’s heart beats fierce, defying the dusk.
Sarah, his beacon, lost in the mists of time, Her name whispered like a prayer on cracked lips, He scours the remnants, unraveling secrets, In the rusted husks of civilization’s fall.
Boozer, loyal brother, scarred by battles past, Tattooed memories etched into his skin, Together they ride, a brotherhood forged, In the crucible of survival, love, and loss.
Iron Mike, the camp’s leader, burdened by choices, His gaze fixed on horizons beyond despair, And Skizzo, enigma veiled in shifting loyalties, A dance of shadows, treachery’s bitter waltz.
Through rain-soaked forests and crumbling highways, Deacon’s tire treads write their saga in mud, Each twist, each turn, a verse in this post-apocalyptic ballad, Where hope flickers like a fragile flame.
The wind carries echoes of forgotten laughter, And the scent of pine mingles with decay, In this fractured world, where humanity clings, Deacon rides, chasing memories, chasing life. 🌄🏍️
