I just adore this girl! Her lyrics put me in my feelings. Her voice is CRAZY. The first time I heard her I was like, "yassss this is what the people need. REAL MUSIC!" Praise God. Hallelu. Seriously though, it takes a truly talented woman to be great with nothing but her voice and a guitar. So, as much as I love doing my three-part covers where I play ALL the instruments and do ALL the background vocals (I'm tired just saying it)...it's been a while since I did a truly stripped cover, and this song was the perfect song to use to return to my days of playing coffee shops and open mics.
