Uniview Smart Events & NVR Playback

Line crossing, people counting, VCA search, and playback. In this final installment of our Uniview Fixed Lens security camera series, we take you to the Uniview NVR interface with a focus on the intelligent events.

There are two types of events available with our Uniview fixed lens cameras: behavior events and statistic events. Through behavior events, you can set up triggers based on line crossing, intrusion detection, object left behind detection, and more. In this video, we set up a simple line crossing detection.

The second type of event tracks statistics. This includes face detection and people counting. With face detection, you can save images of human faces and keep a head count of all the human faces detected by your security camera. With people counting, you can keep tabs on the number of people that enter and exit your premises. In this video, we set up people counting and show you how to access the statistic database.
