There were two things that drew us to the house that we're currently living in.

🧺One of them was that the laundry room was on the top floor, which meant that I wasn't lugging laundry up and down multiple flights of stairs to do laundry. I loved that.

📚The other thing that drew us to this house was this little den or office in the front of the house. As soon as we walked in we all knew that the space would be a home library.

So we have been slowly building this space up since we moved in. There's still more that I envision happening, but this is a space that we love and use pretty much daily. We're in our home library on a very regular basis. We love reading books here and snuggling up on this sofa that Noel and I have had for around 10 years now. We love this little sofa and are so glad that it has moved houses with us so many times.

We never had a designated room before. In the past, we just had a lot of book baskets all over the house!

But we love books and find ways of bringing them into our daily life!
