The day before video we set off from Gkortsia car park and slept one night in the refuge at Petrostrouga. We set off in the morning at around 0930 and the conditions were incredibly difficult. The snow was loose and deep, every step was an emotional battle as we felt like we were fighting against ourselves. Unfortunatley, I caught a cold as I arrived in Greece and wasn't feeling very well, and we also had a very slim weather window if we wanted to summit Mytikas. The weather forecast wasn't looking good and we had no confidence in the snow pack for climbing Mytikas. Therefore, we ended up turning around at the Muses Plateau and going back to the car the same night. The GoPro ran out of battery so this is only the approach to the mountain, no descent.

Think we need to come back and make the full ascent in the winter!
