Join us for the final edition in our Creative Exchange (CX) series for 2022, which we are co-hosting with the Kingdom of the Netherlands in South Africa (#cocreateSANL).

In September, our event topic is “Finding common ground” – we will engage with community-based organisations and explore the vital role that civil society plays in the design of water-sensitive solutions.

In the last three live-streamed events our diverse panel of inspiring speakers discussed the topic of Designing African blue-green cities for all. During these discussions we unpacked what it means to design sustainable African cities on multiple topics such as health and wellbeing, as well as the interaction between water and the built environment. We continue the conversation on designing more inclusive processes, systems and products that can lead to a more water secure future, particularly in an African context.

During the Creative Exchange, we bring together a host of researchers, academics, city officials, and practitioners in a range of disciplines to share knowledge and innovative ideas.
