Shareholder agreements typically deal with three types of rights and obligations - (i) how the company will be run, (ii) how the investment made by the investors will be protected and (iii) under what circumstances the investor may exit. In this video, we take a look at the governance rights within a shareholders agreement. These rights include provisioning for the investor to participate in the governance of the company through board nomination, quorum requirements and veto powers.
