My marketing is not working. What can I do about it?

Here are the 3 main issues if your marketing isn't working:

1) Your timing is wrong

2) Your targeting is off

3) Your images or copy is ineffective

BONUS: You must be persistent with your marketing efforts and test and measure. A/B test your marketing. Use multiple forms of advertising to get in front of your audience multiple ways.

Even though I am an internet guy, I still strongly believe in print advertising (FYI - so does Google...) and simply offering a high-quality, outsounding product or service that gets people to talk. A word of mouth referral is still the best in 2019!

Every bit of marketing you do should send people to your website to learn more. This is where your focus should be. (What do I know though...my little business only closed $2M is business from internet leads alone over a 5 year period with $0 online ad spend.)

Pro Tip: Sending people to your homepage is not always the best place to send them on your website. Your marketing efforts should send people to a 'landing page' on your website that continues with the same message (and look and feel) of the marketing piece that got them on your site.
