Meet DD: DD is here for a 4-week behavior modification board and train program because she had spent her entire life stuck in a yard in Phoenix, fence-fighting anything that walked by. Then her owner died of old age and the owner's sister brought DD to live in CO with her husband and their two other dogs. The new owners wanted DD to overcome her aggression toward all dogs (they experienced quite a few dog fights) and for her to learn to "just be a dog" : Able to get along with other dogs, be able to accompany them on long off-leash mountain hikes, and simply enjoy her life happy and stress-free. This is the first of daily posts of her journey to become "just a dog".
