Big Questions in Classrooms - Transforming Science Education & Religious Education in the UK

Описание к видео Big Questions in Classrooms - Transforming Science Education & Religious Education in the UK

TWCF's Big Questions in Classrooms (BQiC) takes a multi-disciplinary, inquiry-led approach to learning and teaching. Watch the video to learn how it's empowering students to think critically as they explore diverse religious and non-religious worldviews, and science.

By focusing on open-ended questions about existence and knowledge, the teaching models supported by BQiC prompt students to consider beliefs, emotions, and humanity's fundamental traits. Different academic perspectives, such as philosophy, theology, and psychology, are combined to approach the "big questions" of life holistically.

Featured in the video:

Professor Berry Billingsley, Epistemic Insight Initiative

Gillian Georgiou, Team Leader, Religious and Worldviews Project
