Effective wastewater treatment is key to protecting public health and ensuring long-term environmental sustainability.

At the Ruhleben treatment plant, we supported Gerhard Wenzel in the renovation of the wastewater pretreatment area. The original concrete system had deteriorated significantly over the years, necessitating a comprehensive upgrade. The Berlin Waterworks and Gerhard Wenzel chose our sustainable ELGEF Plus system for this project. Additionally, they opted for MULTI/JOINT® 3000 Plus to transition between different pipe materials with varying outside diameters and utilizing our ELGEF Plus large electrofusion couplers with active reinforcement. Our team also provided peeling and re-rounding tools, along with fully digital welding machines.
