Boomerang Farm Bike Park - My First Trip

Got the chance to get away from the Mrs and kids and check out Boomerand Farm bike Park while down the coast in Queensland. The area had over 100mm of rain in the past week and it was the first day it was open again, the trails were weathered compared to videos from the downhill championships 2 weeks prior but luckily for me this is the exact conditions I ride in every day. Some people were complaining about grip, bumps and small rocks but it felt like home to me. The berms were fantastic and the dirt held great grip and there wasn't any dust like it's renowned for. Started off with a few flowy tracks and began looking at mini mega followed by DH2 and DH3. DH2 reminds me of home and quickly got up to speed after checking out the features, Mini mega took a little more as big drops and transfers aren't something I have ever done before. After meeting Josh we worked off of each others energy and ticked off features 1 at a time before completing full runs. Josh really wants to complete full DH2 runs so we worked on a few areas and i towed him into the big double for speed knowledge. Found a few blokes who could whip far better than me and got a few vids on the drone and camera.

Awesome day, I'll be back with friends to do the big lines next time.
