To save yourself from setting up your local server every time:
1) Go to “...\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\cfg\”.
2) Find the “listenserver.cfg” file, or just create one if it’s not there.
3) In this file, you can add console commands and key bindings that your local server will automatically load.

💾 Here’s my listenserver as an example. It provides a brief description of each console command. Feel free to just copy it if you want.

⚠ IMPORTANT: Make sure to set up your key binds carefully so the listenserver doesn’t mess up your in-game settings. To keep your settings and binds safe, save them in the "autoexec.cfg" file in the same folder.

To find the default values of console commands, simply enter any command without providing a value, “sb_move” for example.
