The Big Impact Of PM Kisan – How Scheme Is Enabling Farmers To Make Productive Investments

A study was undertaken as part of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research–International Food Policy Research Institute project “Assessing the Impact of Krishi Vigyan Kendra in India.” It looked at the link between the PM-Kishan scheme and the adoption of modern agricultural technologies.

The results of the study show PM-Kisan is working well on the ground. The scheme has reached one-third farmers in the first three months of its implementation, and has significantly helped those who are relatively more dependent on agriculture and have poor access to credit, says the report.
