Clay Harbor clarifies his “controversial” opinion about Michelle’s looks

Hey guys! We’ve got all the details on why one of Clay’s tweets had fans talking BUT…

Ok so bachelorette alumni Clay Harbor tweeted this week saying “controversial opinion Michelle is the most beautiful bachelorette”

The tweet quickly got bachelor nation talking with many people questioning WHY it was a controversial opinion and Many members of bachelor nation calling him out over the concept of ranking womens looks!

The tweet continued to spark backlash so Clay decided it was important to delete it and clarify the sentiment behind it!

He tweeted saying:

“Guys, when I said 'controversial opinion Michelle is the most beautiful bachelorette' I meant no disrespect, The controversial part is bc there has been so many beautiful women in that spot. (18 I think)."
He continued, "Just trying to [compliment]. Apologies if you were offended."

One fan who hadn’t caught wind of the drama surrounding the initial tweet replied to Clay’s apology asking if someone had been offended, and Clay replied saying "'You're beautiful' used to be a compliment."

Michelle never chimed in on any of the drama so we don’t know how she felt about the tweet or the apology!

Seeing as she’s made it clear this season she’s not here for the drama we have a feeling she’ll be staying clear of any future twitter drama as well!
