This episode was a salute to Tennessee. Eddy performed the songs "Don't Forget How Much I Love You" and "I've Been Thinking". Eddy Arnold's manager was Colonel Parker. The only other act that Colonel Parker managed was Elvis Presley. Eddy had sold over 30 million records at the time of his appearance on the Swift Show Wagon. Additionally, Horace Heidt Jr. can be seen making his conducting debut in this video.
