the newest brutal advent is here, and it’s A FISH A FISH YEEEESSSS!!!

okay anyway, Jumbo Jones is a backliner with two orbs that damage different ranges, the further one being stronger and firing a wave. he also has high speed and low tba, making him dangerous if protected.

stage 1: the introduction, he only has light angel and black support. i use courier for gory, pizza for the black, and mushroom for the angels and chipping jones. kalisa is good since she can rush into the weak hit and deal big damage. i was learning so i played bad, but this stage isn’t that hard.

stage 2: really similar, but with another backline threat and aku support. this is when i learned of how good thunder jack is here, as he completely ruins this and the last level with his kb stun. just protect him from death surge and you’re good to go. if doing legit tho, this plays super similar to last stage.

stage 3: alien support now, which still means thunder jack carries. the issue now is metal doge, who as you can see is easily able to screw you over with poor rng. i bring jurassic and researcher to try to handle him, with baby cat to try wave piercing when luck is going bad. if elder sloth dies and metal doge lets you go, jones wont last much longer. rng but not the worst.

stage 4: definitely the hardest level, and the actual brutal one too. you need to handle oldhorn fast, because gravey appears around 40 seconds after and the two together are extremely hard to handle. this is where idi and baha (who i reluctantly used for just this stage) come in, as paired with doron you can rip most of his health away fast. if you can get rid of him before gravey appears, you have a shot at winning. just slowly chip away the two remaining threats while being careful with money, you do get cash fills but eventually they run out. jones will die first usually, leaving you with a boosted gravey who can be extremely annoying to kill if you didn’t bring a counter. i got close to losing, but i was able to barely get rid of him and win! this stage was intense but pretty fun!

your reward is rapper cat, a meatshield just like cone and jetpack but for red and floating (and sage, but that’s mostly for the two zl bosses). he’s pretty good, tho i need to test him out. overall, i had fun here, and i really enjoyed this (though that may be my fish bias hahaha)!!
