Our Rodrigues adventures continue!

Today we swapped hiking shoes for fins and headed to Rivière Banane, one of the best snorkelling spots on the island. We jumped on a little boat that took us all the way out to the reef… and then the real fun began. The current there? Absolutely wild. At some point it felt like Rodrigues was trying to send us back to Mauritius! 💨🌊
But once we fought our heroic battle with the ocean and reached the reef edge — wow. Totally worth it.
Crystal-clear water, bright corals, and fish everywhere. Rodrigues has some of the healthiest reef systems in the Indian Ocean, and you really feel it when you’re swimming through a rainbow of marine life.

After our workout-level snorkelling session, we needed something more chill, so we drove to Cotton Beach — one of the most beautiful, ridiculously calm and soft-sand beaches on the island. Perfect for sunbathing, perfect for swimming, perfect for just forgetting the rest of the world exists.

Later in the afternoon, back in St François, we weren’t done with the day yet. So we walked to the beach again, lifted the drone, and watched the sun slowly melt into the horizon while fruit bats started their evening routines. Warm breeze, golden light, quiet lagoon… Rodrigues at its absolute finest. 🌅✨

Another perfect island day — bit of adventure, bit of chill, and a lot of beauty.
