Surviving Cyclone Hilda

Broome based biologist, fisher and conservationist Jason Fowler has generously donated his yacht for numerous expeditions to the wild Kimberley Coast. This Christmas, Cyclone Hilda took him by surprise. After a brave seven hour battle at sea, Shaguar, his beloved boat and home, was left beached and heavily damaged.

Please help repay Jason’s generosity, and get him back on the water saving the Kimberley. His work has been vital in ensuring that the Great Kimberley Marine Park works for local fishers and for conservation.
