J&K records 53% polling, highest voter turnout in 35 years, say officials

Srinagar, J&K: Chief Electoral Officer Pandurang Pole says, "The voter turnout is 53%... It is the highest polling percentage in the parliamentary elections... The polling was conducted here in a peaceful manner."
