Today on Workshop Quick Takes (wqt): We found our power steering pump pulley was missing a large piece of metal, possibly from a defect or an errant tool slip at some point. Since a lost serpentine belt would mean a long, dark night on some trail in the Colorado Rockies, we couldn't wait around for it to fail. But how to deal with the friction-fit interface?

Join us in our 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ as we clear the work area and demonstrate the process of using the special service tool for this job, available as a loaner set in most auto parts stores.
