Now Gurwinder Singh has planted a fig garden on his 7 acres of land. Gurwinder Singh used to do traditional farming as well as marketing job earlier. Now he has quit his job and tried alternative farming. Gurvinder Singh says that fig crop is very good in Punjab and its marketing is also very easy. He is getting better income from fig farming than traditional farming and job.
