Under FEMA, ignorance of law is NOT an excuse.

If an employee, director, or authorized signatory is involved in or facilitates a contravention,
⚠️ penalty can be imposed personally — even if the act was done during employment.

If you knew, approved, or executed a foreign exchange transaction in violation of FEMA —
👉 You can be penalised individually, not just the company.
