Conversion of a Hammond AO-35 Reverb Driver into a Guitar Amplifier

Описание к видео Conversion of a Hammond AO-35 Reverb Driver into a Guitar Amplifier

This video describes the process of converting a Hammond AO-35 Reverb Driver into a guitar amplifier. This increasingly popular conversion can produce an exceptionally fine 18 watt (approx.) amplifier with outstanding tone and power at a very reasonable cost.

Here is a schematic for the Hammond AO-35 Reverb Amplifier:

Here is a link to a site that contains lots of helpful hints and a schematic reflecting all the circuit changes involved in the conversion: https://app.box.com/s/oc31vz042jpmm2j...

Here is a list of the changes made to the circuit:
1.) Increase R1 to 33K
2.) Increase R1a to 1 Meg
3.) Remove C1 (.0056 uf)
4.) Decrease R9 to 220K
5.) Decrease C8 to .001 uf
6.) Remove R6 and insert VC and TC after C4 and before pin 7 of V1B (see Tone Stack Diagrams for suggestions. I used the Moonlight stack)
7.) Be sure to ground the gray wire that went to "Switch" (8) on terminal panel

Here is a site that has all sorts of Tone Stack Diagrams: http://amps.zugster.net/articles/tone...

I hope you enjoy this video and consider creating your own guitar amp. It's a fairly simple and very rewarding procedure. I also hope you subscribe to my channel and stay tuned for many more videos featuring classic vintage amps, jukeboxes, and homemade projects. Thanks !!!
