Philippa Kabali-Kagwa: Storyteller and poet

Having lived in and out of her homeland, and in various countries over the past 35 years, Philippa has used poetry and stroytelling to explore issues of identity and connection with people and places. She performs a few poems that examine the realms - beneath, between and beyond - that shape us.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
