Backup Games on an OG XBOX!! Worth it??

I finally got around to putting a bigger hard drive in my OG Xbox! I've been meaning to get this done so that I could backup my games on the Xbox itself.

Over a year after doing the same with the PS2 (and, to an extent, the GameCube too), I've managed to softmod my OG Xbox, put a 1TB hard drive in it, and back up all my games. This is all in aid of videogame preservation, so that I'm no longer using the discs I've bought.
