Backing track in the key of C Mixolydian. The jam is similar to the jam section in the Jerry Garcia Band song "Lonesome And A Long Way From Home." (Hint: My Bona Fide Lick #1 video is a great lick to play over this backing track).

The entire track alternates between one bar of C and one bar of Bb. I've added a fretboard diagram outlining C Mixolydian over the entire fretboard. Once you have the Mixolydian mode down, try targeting chord tones, using arpeggios, adding in both the major and minor pentatonic scales for added flavor. Most of all, have fun!!
