New camera Insta360 One RS vs old Sony HDR-AS200V

Описание к видео New camera Insta360 One RS vs old Sony HDR-AS200V

Additional info:
Insta360 4K lens stabilization: high, sharpness: low
Insta360 360 lens sharpness: very high (my mistake)

Disclaimer:
Yes, I know 360 framing is excessive. It's for testing purposes.
Yes, the picture can probably be better with a different color profile and some more loving touch during postprocessing.

Conclusions:
Insta's vivid color sucks
Insta's stabilization rocks
Sony lacks Vsync, but still not that bad of a picture otherwise (1080p max though and gets butchered by YT)
Insta's audio is great, comparing to Sony's. At least somewhat usable at last! I thought Sony vibrated in the case and the battery in the cam, but additional padding didn't help too much.
unsurprisingly, I can't see a difference between Insta's video qualities on my 1080p monitor, played directly from disk
360 video with 50 fps is nice and smooth, but the 4K quality is garbage with narrow field of view. 5.6K is more or less acceptable and though only 30 fps, the low framerate is not that noticeable.
I was worried that I'll get artifacts on my head directly over the cam, so I mounted the device at an angle (1st 360 vid), but straight was actually a lot better (2nd 360 vid)
You can see by yourself how YT handled the compression. Actually not bad IMO, when watched in 4K, but absolute garbage in 1080p. I have NO IDEA how people make good looking movies for YT and I probably never will.

Video rendering:
3840x2160px, 50fps
bitrate (max/avg): 68/60 kk bps
no resampling
two-pass rendering
audio sampling 48kHz, bitrate 384k bps

8:52 Insta360 One RS 360 lens, 5.1K 30fps
13:38 Insta360 One RS 360 lens, 4K 50fps
