UPDATE: Flood and Drain Build - On the Grow

We forgot to add a shut-off valve to our lower tray which resulted in a lack of water-pressure to the top tray! We add a shut-off so that we can turn it slightly to reduce the water pressure to the lower tray and pushes the pressure up higher to the top tray.

Our apologies for missing this critical step in our full video!

A Flood and drain hydroponic system aka Ebb and Flow system, is great at automatically watering crops for you so that you do not have to manually water your plants. You can use a F&D system like this to grow small leafy greens, edible flowers, herbs, microgreens and more! This kind of system is also very easy to maintain

3/4" EMT CONDUIT FOR FRAME ➽ The 3/4" EMT conduit can be purchased from most any hardware store along with the 27-gallon reservoir! We got our conduit from Home Depot (https://www.homedepot.com/p/3-4-in-x-...) because they do not have a Prop 65 warning like the conduit from Lowes!
