Can I Reuse Pool Table Felt: Reinstall Pool Table Cloth

If you decide to buy a used pool table, deciding what to do with the old felt is a concern. Here we demonstrate old pool table cloth being reused and reinstalled with surprising results! A lot will depend on its condition. New pool table felt can be quite pricey and so to save some money, you may want to opt to reuse the old pool table cloth for savings.

We started at the short sides of the table first, working from the middle of that end of the pool table to to the outside. Pay attention to symmetry and how the existing holes are lining up with the felt before you staple. The cloth does stretch so pay attention to how it moves.
