Building our solar unit to recycle plastic with the sun

Video #4 in our series of the process of building a 24m traditional sailing dhow from plastic waste in Lamu, Kenya: BUILDING THE SOLAR UNIT TO MELT PLASTIC

In this video, we'll show how we designed and build a solar cooker and how we aim to use it to recycle plastic waste into the big parts of the boat.
Soon we will also document all of this and publish it as a digital toolkit, so that other people can learn from it, replicate and improve it if they want (so stay tuned!).
