Brian Mulroney funeral: Daughter gives emotional eulogy for a "truly great father"

Speaking at Brian Mulroney's state funeral on Saturday, daughter Caroline Mulroney delivered an emotional eulogy, remembering the former prime minister as a "truly great father," and a charismatic public speaker who cared for everyone – regardless of position of power.

"He became a truly great prime minister and a world leader. But to us, he was more than that. He was a truly great father," she said.

Caroline, his only daughter, also shared remarks about the unique bond she shared with her father, and the last words he shared with her mother, his wife, Mila Mulroney – a promise to one day meet again.
